Prof. Luca Tomesani received his Master of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1987 from the University of Bologna. Actually is coordinating the academic and industrial research in the fields of metal forming (in particular the extrusion of light alloys and the formation of seam welds) and casting technologies (in particular the numerical simulation of gravity castings and the evaluation of the boundary heat transfer coefficients), being funded by both public institutions and private companies.
He is a member of the Italian Association of Mechanical Technology (AITEM), where he leads the national board on extrusion technology.
Prof. Lorenzo Donati Since March 2006 he is University Researcher, (Sector ING/IND-16 Mechanical Technology and Manufacturing Systems) in the “Department of Mechanical, Nuclear, Aeronautical and Metallurgy Engineering (D.I.E.M.) “ in the second Faculty of Engineering (Forlì Campus) of Alma Mater Studiorum-University of Bologna.
Ph.d.s.Antonio Segatori: Research Doctorate in Engineering
Dr. Barbara Reggiani: Research Doctorate in Engineering
