TREVISO WALKING TOUR (TUESDAY AFTERNOON)

The walking tour starts from Piazza della Vittoria and includes a walk through the city centre. We will visit fiume Sile, la Pescheria, Quartiere latino, i Buranelli and Piazza dei Signori and the Com-plesso of Santa Caterina.
Meeting point and departure at 15.00 from BHR Hotel.
Foreseen arrival at BHR Hotel at 18.00
Participants will be accompanied by an English speaking tour guide.

VISIT TO PADUA (WEDNESDAY MORNING)
The tour of Padua will include a visit to the Basilica of Sant'Anto-nio. We will continue with the visit of the historic center of Padua, then Palazzo Po, Palazzo della Ragione, Zona Ghetto and finally the Scrovegni Chapel where one can admire the Giotto's fres-coes.
Meeting point at BHR Treviso Hotel, at 7.45
Departure at 8.15 from BHR Hotel. Foreseen arrival at BHR Hotel at around 14,30.
Participants will be accompanied by an English speaking tour guide

CANOVA MUSEUM (THURSDAY MORNING)
The entire territory of the province of Treviso is rich of old and small villages which conceal inestimable artistic and architectur-al masterpieces.
Visit of the charming town of Asolo, heart of romantic and poetic visions and Bassano del Grappa.
We will continue the visit to Possagno that was the homeland of Antonio Canova. He was deeply fond of his homeland and he wanted to build the Temple of Canova at his own expenses, majestically erected as a protection for the town. The Plaster Cast Gallery is connected to Canova’s home.
Visit to the Gipsoteca and Temple.

Tuesday 9th - EVENING CLASSICAL CONCERT
(ALL PARTICIPANTS WITH INVITATION CARD)
A CLASSICAL MUSIC CONCERT will be performed for all participants and accompanying persons at TEATRO EDEN at 9 pm.
The concert will be perfomed by famous international artists like Tenor Cristian Ricci, Daniela Candiotto, Ma Fei and Chen Xiao.
The program includes Verdi, Puccini, Tosti and other fa-mous opera composers.
Shuttle bus service us provided to and from Teatro Eden. Departure at 8.30 pm from the BHR Treviso Hotel.

Wednesday 10th - EVENING JAZZ CONCERT
(ALL PARTICIPANTS WITH INVITATION CARD)
At 9 pm, an exclusive jazz concert will be performed by Off Broadway group at the Gioja Lounge Bar in the BHR Treviso Hotel, congress venue.

Thursday 11th - EVENING GALA DINNER
(ALL PARTICIPANTS WITH INVITATION CARD)
On Thursday 11th, at the end of the last conference day, the GALA DINNER for all participants and accompanying persons will take place at the Castello di Roncade, a very charming location in Treviso.
Shuttle bus service provided to and from Roncade Castle (Via Roma, 141, 31056 Roncade TV).
Departure at 7 pm from the BHR Treviso Hotel.
SPECIAL GUEST OF THE GALA DINNER: TENOR CRISTIAN RICCI
Cristian Ricci studied singing in Verona with Maestro Danilo Cestari and later with the famous tenor Carlo Bergonzi at the Acca-demia Verdiana in Busseto. He is known worldwide for his international performanc-es.
Being gifted with a solid and refined vocal technique, a smooth vocalism and a clear crystal timbre as a typical Italian tenor, Cristian Ricci knows how to face and cover a vast repertory. He expresses his phrasing through a rich variety of shades with ex-cellent interpretation and expression skills.

Saturday 13 April 2019: Final tour: Ville Venete and Castelfranco Veneto

Full day (for all participants and accompanying persons)
We will start our final tour at Villa di Maser (Villa Bar-baro), UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the grea-test masterpieces of Andrea Palladio, the architect that in the 16th century revolutionized the way of conceiving architecture. Inside the villa the six rooms with frescoes by Paolo Veronese, which re-present his largest and most important fresco works.The Villa is a living house, inhabited by the ow-ners, in the middle of a thriving agricultural compa-ny whose wines are exported all over the world.
We will continue our visit towards Villa Emo, hierar-chical, dominated by the main building, which is raised, and by the majestic staircase on the front. On the sides there are two long symmetrical “barchesse” end with two dovecotes, and an ex-traordinary internal decoration, made by Giovanni Zelotti.

Castelfranco Veneto, characterized by its impressive medieval crenellated walls. The front wall is decora-ted with 18th Century statues, including the one by the artist that made this village famous throughout the world, Giorgione. Inside the walls there are va-rious medieval houses and the Cathedral, which preserves the most important work by Giorgione: the famous “Madonna on the Throne”. It is considered one of the most beautiful altarpieces of the Italian 16th Century.
Lunch in a characteristic restaurant in the city cen-ter for all participants.
